A community of 2,000 youths cannot function without rules. There will be the normal buzzwords – all aimed at fostering a sense of partnership and a willingness to help out.
- Youths under the age of 18 can only participate as a member of a group.
- Group leaders must be at least 18 years old and are responsible for the oversight of the members of their group.
- We recommend one leader for every 10 youths in a group.
- Youths older than 16 can also participate as individual festival volunteers with the written permission of a parent or guardian.
- The festival is an alcohol- and drug-free zone. Smoking is permitted only in designated areas within the compound and only in accordance with one’s respective national laws.
