For Staff

Are you interested in being a staff member?

You make the Festival possible. As a staff member you are an integral part of making the Festival a huge success.

Administration:

We’re looking especially for staff that can help support the administration of the Festival.
It’s about night duty, monitoring entrances, positions of responsibility at mealtimes, tech crew, logistics managers, “gofers”, etc.
Staff is required to spend at least 6-8 hours daily completing their assignments and you will only be able to take part in a small portion of the programming. On the other hand, it’s a challenging assignment with great fellowship with the other staff members. Administrative staff quickly becomes a “Crew”.

Programme:

We are also looking for a few openings in the programme area. We would welcome your application as a workshop leader or an indication of your willingness to lead a “drop-in” activity.

As a workshop leader:
Do you have a special skill and a desire to teach it to others? Are you a cheerleader or a Jump Styler and would love to share to your knowledge with a group of Ten Singers? Then apply to be a workshop leader! We’re looking for people with a willingness to hold workshops for 1 – 4 afternoons. It can be a workshop that lasts a single afternoon or spans all 4 afternoons. It’s up to you.

Are you willing to organize a drop-in activity?
So what’s that? Drop-in can be all kinds of things. For example, an improvised slide, a handicraft area, a mini-dance workshop, Singstar. In short, activities where people can just come by and join in.

Either as a workshop leader or a drop-in activity organizer, you benefit from the “Pro-light” discount.

You can apply here online, to be a staff member. If you are already interested, we’d be glad to hear from you earlier. Send us an e-mail at office@ets2011.eu. The number of staff positions is limited so we’re going to have to make some choices.

Already asked to be a crew-member?

Have you already received a request to work as a staff member in the administration or programme areas? You can receive all necessary information from your team leader.
Depending on the effort of your tasks either Crew or Pro-light rates will apply. Even if you’ve already been asked to be a staff member, you must still apply beginning September 1, 2010.
